Fishing is an exciting sport in which you can not only enjoy the outdoors, but also catch a flavorsome meal. If you are a beginner fisherman, you must understand first the guidelines of fishing although many people usually first learn to fish with an experienced angler.

Some matters to consider are what equipment is needed, how to use basic fishing gear , where to fish, how to find out about licenses and regulations, and what to do when you get a bite.

The first thing you should learn is patience. Patience is a requirement if you want to become a good angler. It is usual for angler not catch any fish on some days due to the fact that catching fish is not that easy. Yes, it is indeed that anglers need substantial time to catch a fish, so fishing is usually time well spent.

Second, respect to your environment. Do not litter when you are fishing and always use the type of bait and fishing gear that are required for that selected area.

Third, you need to check the regulations in the area you are planning to fish. Every area usually has different regulations about the period of time to fish, size of fish, and the number of fish you can keep. Be familiar with the regulations and respect them all.

Finally, safety is first. If you will use a boat while you fish, do not forget to wear your life jacket at all times while in the boat and bring your safety items, such as water, flashlights, maps, and a cell phone. Be very conscientious in baiting and removing hooks and be sure that you pay attention to speed limits and do not fish on unauthorized waterways.

By following the guidelines of fishing, fishing can be fun and challenging.

The world’s smallest continent and biggest island is Australia. It is almost as big as the 48 contiguous U.S.. Its 20.4 million people are largely concentrated in the eastern and southeastern coastal urban regions. This means that there are big open spaces to explore in the remainder of the country, and this can be best accomplished by car. Scenic coastlines, inland mountainous regions and verdant tropical forests with native plants and wildlife are there for the traveller to discover.

All you need to easily organize for car rental at the airport or hotel is a valid drivers permit that is in English. There are dozens of car hire companies providing many kinds of vehicles, from assorted makes and sizes of cars and SUVs to minivans, camper vans and RVs, minibuses, and 4WDs. There is a vehicle to suit anyone. Just to illustrate, camping enthusiasts can get campervans that will sleep up to 6 people, and come fully equipped with a microwave, gas stove, griller and refrigerator. Deluxe models will have double beds, toilet and shower in addition to the mini kitchen. There are four-wheel-drives that would be suitable for more rugged terrain. If budget is restricted, there are economy compact cars and economy campers. There are also convertibles and luxury large cars.

One should be familiar with the basics of driving conditions in Australia: driving on the left side of the road, observing the different speed limits (in kilometres) and regulations in the States to be visited, checking weather and road conditions before travel, letting police know of travel plans if driving in rural areas, making way for the road trains (a semi-truck hauling 3 large trailers), etc. Expect the car rental company to provide detailed information on driving rules and regulations, supplies to take (most importantly, plenty of water), processes in case of emergency, potential dangers such as wildlife and driving at night, as well as accommodations, routes and resources on the road. Study and preparation in advance will ensure a successful and enjoyable car vacation in Australia.

Nepalese climber, 74, oldest person to conquer the peak of Chomolungma “Chomolungma or Mount Everest this year became a political pawn,” he said with some frustration.

This year Anthony Loeff the French alpinist is reporting the scales for Mount Everest after reaching the summit of Mont Blanc earlier this season.

Min Bahadur Sherchan and four climbing guides reached the 29,035-foot (8,850-meters) summit of the world’s highest mountain early Sunday, said Ramesh Chretri, an official with Nepal’s ministry of tourism.

As he planned for the climb, Sherchan told reporters he wanted to inspire fellow senior citizens. He also said many Nepalese have established records on Mt Everest, so it was only fitting that the record for the oldest climber to reach the summit should also belong to a Nepali. With the Chinese preparing for the impending summer Olympic Games, Bahadur Sherchan noted that the government’s actions hardly reflected the Olympic spirit. More than 3134 people have climbed to the summit since it was first conquered in 1953 by New Zealander Edmund Hillary, who died in January, and Nepal’s Tenzing Norgay.

The Chinese were flying their airplanes over Everest and had Chinese officials in Kathmandu. His first found him within 243 metres of the peak when his team stopped to help a fellow mountaineer who was left for dead. Three years later, Min Bahadur Sherchan, a University of Calgary alumni, returned to Mount Everest to finish what he had started.

Now that Andrew Brash has successfully scaled the tallest mountain in the world, he is once again ready to focus on his family. Min Bahadur Sherchan returned this week from Nepal after successfully climbing to the summit of the Mount Everest. They basically coerced the Nepali government to not allow any climbers past camp two on the Nepali side. “The Chinese weren’t allowing anybody on Mt Everest. They ended up commandeering it for themselves, even though Chomolungma or Mount Everest is shared by two countries. The 75-year-old man from Nepal is now the oldest person to have reached the top of Chomolungma. Indeed, he was all too aware of the potential dangers Everest could bring. Certain parts of the climb are more dangerous than others and it is important for climbers to remain focused Hall was frostbitten and severely disoriented due to altitude sickness. Bahadur Sherchan returned a hero to Calgarians. Andrew Brash last attempt resulted in the rescue of Lincoln Hall, an Australian climber who was left by his team in the “death zone.”

Further, the decision to actualize a long-time personal goal left Min Bahadur Sherchan with some internal uncertainties, he cited the political actions of China and Nepal as providing the greatest adversity he faced on his journey. Sherchan just 9 days away from his 77th birthday beat the age record set last year by 71-year-old Japanese teacher Katsusuke Yanagisawa.

They flexed their muscles this year all the in name of the Olympic spirit, but it was hardly spirited at all.”
