Hardens food guide all began in the early 1990’s it was seen that London as a great city had no restaurant guides at all. The idea was to design something that was pocket sized that the food loving public could use to assist them to decide where is a good Polish restaurant to eat. Well over 13 years ago the 1st London Polish restaurant guide was published by hardens and has been a definite success ever since.
What makes Hardens so dissimilar is that the London Places to eat are scored by the clients, when the first ever review guide was printed and distributed the restaurant market was just starting to stir and with tremendous difficulty Hardens was able to ask one hundred restaurant customers to take part in the first London wide survey. Over 600 meals over a 9 month period were consumed to make the Hardens Restaurant review guide what it is these days.
Hardens have the made available books and now have a website. The website is easy to steer in and will tell you yourself anything you need to know about pretty much any Greek restaurants in London and give you suggestions split into sections so it makes it easier for you to narrow down what it is that you are exactly looking for. If you’re looking for UK Restaurant Reviews, check out Hardens.
The educational website itself has lots of bits recommended on it, it is effortless to digest and work your way through and this is thanks to its excellent clear design, you can view all the greatest up and coming Brazilian restaurants and of course reviews on them. This section is called Latest Reviews and is clearly placed on the beginning page of the restaurant review website where you can view the lengthy list of Moroccan restaurants which changes every couple of months depending on what restaurant reviews have been written. There is also an area down the left hand side of the web page where browsers can search for perhaps a specific Italian restaurant or if you’re looking for a restaurant to go to in a specific area such as Glasgow and people want to separate the high quality ones for the dreadful one this will do the job perfectly for you.

Our capital is full of great value events to see. Mentioned here are only two places.
The famous London Eye is named the Millennium Wheel, and for folks who don’t know, it’s actually an observation wheel; and a chance for the general public to behold out capital from lots of & differing perspectives from around the heavens. You can see which shows in London are on with Time Out.
With near to 40 kilometres of eye-opening views on sunny days, the Wheel offers its guests with first class views of our capital & loads of London’s recognized landmarks. The wheel is in fact allowed to visit the Wheel at evening or the morning - the difficult option can be thinking about which you’d prefer to do, visit in day-light whilst the landmarks are in view or after dark for a truly spectacular view of the capital’s lights.
Theatreland in the capital has been evident since the early Victorian times, in truth, most of the famous theatres are of later Victorian or Edwardian design. All the properties have a phenomenal character and this boosts the seduction of visiting. West end shows have runs for a differing number of weeks. This is affected by the theatre’s admission counts.
These days the tickets are today not as expensive as they used to be, yet they are still not amazingly cheap. If someone orders tickets with plenty of time to spare they can often get the tickets for a good price. Look out for good buys that a few companies may be able to offer. Perhaps it would be good to go & for a nice meal before the theatre, or maybe book a room around one of the London hotels afterwards. Time Out can assuredly make your time at a theatre smother - and more satisfying with its traditional recommendations of what can be the finest acts within out capital and maybe those performances one should evade.

(Interested in reading more about the payday advance online? Go a no fax payday advance go here.)
One of the frequently publicized complaints by adversaries of the faxless instant cash advance industry takes a shot at the borrowing rate conventionally levied upon short term payday loans which might stack up to a multiple of the payday advance issued.
As is well known, the annual percentage rate or “APR” is defined as a classic indicator formalizing the entire amount of interest a borrowing client will be paying calculated for a full year. It contributes the framework to realistically assess which financial instrument can boast a higher / lower expenditure to the asking client, plus additional fees that may be slapped on.In point of fact, this APR may be dubbed a highly pertinent equation relating to loans traversing at least twelve months .Yet, when it comes to short term loans or investments the annualized rates of interest are manifestly less appropriate.
Why not liken a payday advance to getting a taxi home from the train station. It may cost you $40 to get back home. Sure, forty dollars may be anythin but a trivial sum to have to pay for a ride home all the same people will go for it simply because it’s a sensible thing to do and it covers a specific demand. True, we’re aware that we could easily hire a car for the whole day for $40 allowing us to drive as many miles as we wish.
So let’s say we do just that— i.e. hire that car and drive 400 miles during the single day we’ve rented it. Defenders of APR will probably tell us that you must annualize these figures to attain to a valid correlation. Alright, so let us take the price of our taxi ride ($2 per mile times 400 miles) the result being $800.00. The APR equivalent of the rented car vs our taxi fee gives $40 vs $800. Obviously, there’s little doubt that car rental we chose wasn’t the optimal solution for us, regardless of how much more expensive the annual percentage rate was in this specific case.
The same applies to loans till payday. Short term payday advance loans are limited to two weeks, they are not annual loan agreements. The obviously high p.a. rate can’t be relied upon owing to the fact that this specific class of loan doesn’t stretch across one year. The required borrowing fee amounts to fifteen to twentyfive percent for the loan. That 1 hour payday loan is an expensive choice not to be taken sans inspecting all available alternate possibilities.

The Satellite TV industry has made huge gains on the cable tv
industry in the past several years. With the price of cable tv
skyrocketing every year, many cable subscribers are making the
switch over to satellite tv. Okay so you’ve decided to switch to
satellite tv; but which satellite tv provider do you choose?
A satellite tv provider is a company that owns and operates
satellites in geostationary orbit around the earth. These
satellites broadcast the satellite signal down to your satellite
dish and from their the signal is transferred to your receiver
(black box). The two largest satellite tv providers in the
United Sates are DirecTV and DISH Network. The vast majority of
satellite tv subscribers in the United States use one or the
other so this article will concentrate on comparing the two
satellite giants in an attempt to help you decide which of the
two is best foryou.
With the almost exponential growth of the satellite tv industry,
both DISH Network and DirecTV are now in a position where they
can afford to offer the satellite equipment (dish and receivers)
free to their subscribers. So for starters both DISH Network and
DirecTV offer free satellite equipment. Basically the only
qualifiers are that you be a first time subscriber and that you
have a credit card for monthly billing purposes. So if the
equipment is free how do the two providers make any money? Well,
you do have to pay for the monthly programming of course. The
price of your monthly programming bill depends on which
programming package you choose.
DISH Network’s America Top 60 programming package starts at
$24.99 per month and local channels are available. DISH Network
presently is not making new subscribers commit to a one year
contract. You can end your subscription at any time with no
financial penalty to pay. DirecTV’s entry level programming
package is called the Total Choice package and comes with local
channels and is $39.99 per month. With the Total Choice package
you get over 130 channels. DirecTV does require you to sign a
one year subscription agreement. If you cancel your service
before the year is up, then you have to pay a penalty fee to
DirecTV.
As both satellite giants use the very lates technology in their
satellites and receiving equipment, what differentiates the two
is in the programming options that they provide to their
subscribers. I would rate DirecTV somewhat ahead of the DISH
Network in their sports packages, as they offer seasonal sports
options like the N.F.L. Sunday Ticket that DirecTV has exclusive
rights to. Both providers offer tons of premium movie packages
to choose from including HBO, Showtime, Starz and Cinemax. All
these come with multiple channels per movie package. As DISH
Network has more satellites in orbit than DirecTV does they have
the capacity to offer up to 500 viewing channels, whereas with
DirecTV, you can ‘only’ get 250 channels. Also, DISH Network
offers a lot more foreign programming packages than DirecTV
does.
Both DISH Network and DirecTV offer 100% digital picture and CD
quality sound in all of their programming. So again, they are
tied in this important quality. This technology allows for a
crystal clear perfect picture that cable tv simply cannot
provide.
DISH Network, a subsidiary of EchoStar Communications, was
founded in 1996 by Charles Ergan. While not quite as old as
DirecTV, DISH Network was the fastest satellite provider to
reach the 100,000 subscriber level doing so in just four short
months. Presently, DISH Network has over Nine million satellite
tv subscribers in the 50 United States and District of Columbia.
DISH Network has many ‘firsts’ to its credit, including being
the first company to offer a satellite tv receiver that had a
built in DVR (digital video recorder).
DirecTV was begun in 1994 and is the largest satellite tv
provider in the United States. When it first launched in 1994,
Direct TV was the first satellite TV company to offer all
digital-quality, multi-channel TV programming through the use of
direct broadcast satellite (DBS) technology. DBS technology is
now the standard for the satellite tv industry and we have the
ingenuity of the DirecTV engineers to thank for it. While
DirecTV does not have as large a bandwidth allocation as the
DISH Network does, to counter this DirecTV has arranged to have
to exclusive deals with programming companies to cater to the
programming whims of their subscribers.
In the all important area of customer care, both DirecTV and
DISH Network offer outstanding customer care and support. Both
offer online Faqs sections and help sections to their websites.
You can also call both toll free to get help with any problem
you may be having. Pay-Per-View movies may be ordered either by
using your remote control or calling the 800 toll free number
for either provider.
Both DirecTV and DISH Network offer free professional
installation as part of their free satellite tv promotions. One
difference is that DirecTV will install your equipment for free
in up to five rooms, where DISH Network presently only installs
for free in up to four rooms of your home.
FINAL CONCLUSIONS & RECOMMENDATION:
Both DISH Network and DirecTV offer an outstanding television
viewing experience. The picture reception for both is far
superior to that of cable tv. DISH Network’s entry level package
is cheaper than DirecTV’s; but then the Total Choice package
comes with alot more channels. DirecTV is stronger in the area
of sports coverage, while DISH Network places somewhat more of
an emphasis on its premium movie packages and foreign
programming options. And both have outstanding customer care,
both having won the prestigious J.D. Power Award in recent years
for providing the best overall service among satellite and cable
subscribers.
Our recommendation is that both DirecTV and DISH Network offer a
superior television viewing experience than cable tv. Both are
alot cheaper than cable, offer superior picture quality and free
equipment and instalation. Both also offer superior customer
care service compared to local cable providers. If you’re a big
sports fan and just have to have that certain premium sports
package, then DirecTV is for you; but if you’re not a huge
sports fan and cost is an issue, then you might want to go with
DISH Network and it’s entry level America’s Top 60 at just
$24.99 a month. Also, remember that DirecTV will require a one
year commitment, whereas with the DISH Network there is no
contract to sign, meaning you can cancel your service at anytime
and not have to pay a penalty.
Whichever satellite provider you choose, you can’t go wrong. As
a subscriber of the DISH Network and a sales person that has
several years experience in the satellite tv industry (have sold
both DirecTV & DISH Network)I highly recommend that you drop
cable, stop feeding the pig and switch to satellite tv service
today. The vastly superior picture quality alone that DBS
satellite technology provides makes it worth the change. It’s
like heaven watching tv with no more squiggly lines running
across the tv screen!

English is not just a national language it is a unique global
passport.
The sameness of language can overcome any identity crisis,
sometimes inconveniently. When I arrived in London, fresh from
South Africa and desperate to immerse myself in a foreign
culture, language became an issue. If I opened my mouth to speak
and there was a South African nearby (and there usually was…)
they would inevitably gravitate toward me and want to bond. This
was not what I had in mind; I have nothing against my fellow
citizens but I had spent a lot of money, and come a long way to
have a ‘foreign’ experience. The concept of a bunch of us
hanging out together in London was beyond me.
Just as there is safety in numbers, there is safety in a shared
language. Our voice quality, accent, vocabulary, and particular
idiom all denote who we are and where we come from. Language
articulates our identity. Others recognise this identity and
either there is a synchronicity (you’re part of the group) or
there is not. Friends feel the same about things; have similar
interests; and will often express themselves in a common
language.
The British government’s Kingman report in 1988 on the teaching
of English firmly endorsed the importance of language education
as an instrument of personal development, and the promotion of a
sense of personal identity: the ’shaping of personality and the
exploration of self are inextricably bound up with language
development.” But the report also recognised the role of
language teaching to develop wider identities. “From childhood,”
it says, “we learn to use language not only to identify with
certain groups but also to exclude others.”
To belong to a particular ‘nation’ is a sense of identity. We
reside in a certain geographical area and are as a result, a
certain race. South Africa is a good example of people of many
different races trying to develop a sense of patriotic identity
in respect of the nation. This, of course is only happening now,
and South Africa was a prime example of how certain groups who
do not talk the same, look the same, or act the same are
excluded from the ‘greater’ group. However, given the importance
of communication in fostering links between people, it is not
surprising that language is high on the list. South Africa has
eleven official languages but English is the one you need in
order to get a worthwhile job; in fact, there are few countries
in the world where English is not used in the course of a day.
English has become our global common ground.
Language helps to articulate cross-national identities that
would otherwise be difficult to sustain. Therefore, the Kingman
report emphasised the need for children to widen their horizons
and prepare themselves to enter a ‘public world’ to which the
passport is language. International conferences are usually held
in English; our cross-national youth culture currently converse
mostly over the Internet in English; popular music is often sung
in English and so it goes. Language is seen as opening pathways
not only to careers but also to fulfilment in identifying with
the global community at large - and which you may seek to
identify with as well.

Some say the secret to being a good presenter is to visualize
the audience naked. I say if you really want to be a great
speaker, it’s the speaker who must strip for the audience.
Great speakers and presenters are not afraid to bare their souls
to the audiences. They strip away their masks and illusions
allowing audiences and prospects to see them for whom they are.
Audiences walk away not only with increased knowledge but some
insight into the presenter as a person.
Whether our goal is to sell, educate, or inform every speech or
presentation has a goal, and key to reaching that goal is
generating trust. In order to trust us, people must know us,
like us, and believe we are credible.
It’s no wonder so many of us are terrified to speak in front of
a group. Presenting speaks to our greatest insecurity - people
may not accept us as we are.
Each person has a unique presentation style, and while some
elements work well, others do not. Regardless of the presenters’
skill level, I have found most presenters can increase their
likeability, credibility, and authority by at least 25 percent
by unlocking the “four-second window.”
Within four seconds, most of us form an immediate impression and
then spend the next 30 minutes justifying our impression. Think
back to a blind date, first interview, or social situation. Did
you make a snap judgment as to whether or not you were going to
like him or her? Most of us do.
We do it to others, and others do it to us. Most audiences
decide whether or not they like us before we utter our first
word.
For some, this “four-second window” is a breeze. These rare men
and women have naturally-high “likeability factors,” a face,
smile, or presence in which people find instantly attractive.
For most of us, however, this is not the case. We have to earn
our positive rating in an incredibly short period of time.
Six factors contribute to first impressions: gestures, stance,
movement, dress and grooming, stance, and eye contact. Of these,
dress and grooming, stance, and eye contact are most important.
Experts abound on the subject of proper dress and grooming for
presentations, yet the best advice I found came from one of my
seminar participants. She suggested looking into the mirror and
noticing if anything stood out, and if it does, taking it off
and changing it.
One man I coached loved loud ties. While his neckwear reflected
his outgoing personality, it also distracted from his
presentation. The audience focused on his ties rather than his
face, missing much of what he had to say.
Like appearance, stance contributes to instant credibility, and
for many women, stance is a challenge.
Most women are taught at a young age to assume a dancer’s pose,
feet close together with one toe pointed out at a 90-degree
angle. While this stance may be feminine and pretty, it holds no
authority.
Instead, I counsel both men and women, to stand tall, feet
shoulder width and pointed outward, hands at their sides. While
it is important to gesture naturally, hands should drop to the
sides when not in use.
Stance is important in establishing credibility so don’t hide
it. At no time should speakers stand behind a podium, desk,
table, or other obstacle. Great speakers allow the audiences to
see all of them - physically as well as emotionally.
The eyes have been called the “windows of the soul.” As such,
they are one of our greatest weapons in winning audiences. When
it comes to eye contact, great speakers use a rifle instead of a
shotgun.
I coach executives to begin their presentations by standing in
silence, finding a friendly face, establishing eye contact,
taking a deep breath, and then beginning their talk. This simple
tip helps speakers become grounded and start their presentations
with authority.
Many presenters talk while moving their heads from person to
person like a sprinkler system, or worse they lose all
connection with their audience by staring at one person, the
slide screen, or into space. I train presenters to pick one
person and maintain steady eye contact with that person until
they have delivered a complete thought. Intensive eye contact
can be uncomfortable, yet it is also highly effective in
generating trust.
Discomfort is a constant companion for great presenters for they
know no matter how good they think they are they can always be
better. Using appearance, stance, and eye contact, they generate
instant credibility while constantly challenging themselves to
share more of themselves with their audiences.

VoIP
internet telephony is a highly efficient technology that is
used to transmit voice conversations over a data network,
through the use of Internet Protocol.
Most consumer VoIP services make use of the internet to transmit
the data from one user to another, but any IP network can be
used to the same purpose. For example, many cable providers
offer their own digital phone services, which transmit data over
private IP networks.
Digital phone networks are thought to provide somewhat better
service and security that internet based VoIP services. With
standard VoIP
providers constantly improving their broa
dband phone services, however, this gap is quickly closing,
and the more expensive private digital phone services are
finding it harder and harder to compete effectively.
Of course, with technological standards constantly evolving, new
types of VoIP networks are emerging that don’t use wires at all.
Wireless
VoIP phones operate on special digital networks, and can be
a lot cheaper to use than normal cell phones.
