I am not so miserable, but its hard to date at my age. I finally bottomed out, merely hours ago I devoured what seemed like a pound of bacon. On a weekend that comes from being alone, surprise! Don’t judge me (j/k!). Am I crazy? Actually, that’s the moment when I seriously considered getting out to date in my area.

Easy solution. Figured I’d boost my dating life with professionally hosted Denver singles events. That never sounded better. Why do I bring it up? While eating corn on the cob at my boy’s t-ball game in Denver this afternoon, Mom had to know if I’ve met my soulmate. They sure have nerve. So, I said, “I’m eating here, and no.”

No surprise that The Old Tooter (aka: grandpa) kept pressing me along the lines of my companionship situation. I quipped to the family gang: “Seriously, do you even know me?”

Guess what? No one knew what I was talking about, as usual. Irritated, I rang Margaret so I could clear my head. That didn’t help! I would have learned more by asking my son. Billy, who was a fellow Ram in high school (go Rams!) advised that I mingle at singles events by Great Expectations. I said, “That’s what I was going to do.” See, everything always works out. I love this Dallas dating service.

When I started, meeting new singles through dating services was new because I’m a traditionalist of sorts. I was a bit nervous at first, that my hands started sweating. A mere emotional anxiety couldn’t pull the plug on a great time. That night I enjoyed was a great way to start at Great Expectations. The host was incredible and I’ll always remember the attractive, single women.

There’s something great about going to these amazing singles events in Dallas, I got in touch with a collection of dynamite friends who I could tell have similar ideas while being in this kind of fun, sophisticated company. Don’t know why I ever let anyone get on my back about living the bachelor’s life after all these years. Awesomely enough, mingling in Dallas with Great Expectations is enjoyable and a remarkably refreshing dating experience.
